Good example of intertextuality

This is a film some students did with he usage of intertextuality. You can clearly see the youngsters were inspired by the Famous thriller Psycho.In order for the film to not plagiarise the film psycho , and directly copy they switched the roles in there film. Instead of the male character being seen as the dominant killer or villain , the female is and the female kills the male instead of the female.
